In the course of group A’s activities from 2012 to 2019, we performed special summer shows in the month of August to commemorate the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Having been born and raised in the only country to be nuked, i have a deep connection to this man-made disaster on a spiritual level. It is my moral obligation to express this dark legacy and to keep standing in solidarity with the Hibakusha. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we commemorated it by releasing a compilation album on our experimental solidarity comp project, NO Recording. In the last 3 years I have moved the place of expression to the radio.
